We are working exclusively with an industry leading produce manufacturer, who are actively investing in their site, for a Group Procurement Manager. You would be based at their head office in the heart of Lincolnshire, a hub for innovation and investment. The Group Procurement Manager they are searching for will deliver industry best practice whilst building a team to drive the success of the business going forward.

To be successful as the Group Procurement Manager, you will need to be:

Over the last 15 years, the site you will be based at has grown exponentially and become a leading player in green initiatives. The key experience you will need as the Group Procurement Manager:

  • A background within Food Manufacturing
  • Operated as a Procurement Manager or equivalent, ideally with a Procurement related qualification but this is not essential
  • A great handle on industry best practice
  • Demonstrable experience with cost savings
  • Fantastic negotiation skills

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimisation and enhancing supply chain efficiencies
  • Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements
  • Implementing procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies
  • Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships

For the successful candidate, they are offering circa £70,000 plus car allowance and excellent wider package. They are also offering hybrid working of up to 3 days from home.
