Clarity In The Interim Sector – Interim Market Survey

If I had to use one word to describe the Interim market in the last 4 years, it would be “chaotic”. We’ve been supplying Interims for over 16 years and we’ve had our record best and worst year since 2020.  There were a few significant events that shaped this period of uncertainty e.g. Covid, Off Payroll Working Rules and inflation. It’s very evident the market is changing. We’ve noticed this in the types of assignments we are delivering.

To get a full handle on the market, we carried out a survey with our Interim Managers, all of whom are carrying Interim assignments in the food and drink manufacturing sector. We had 75 complete the questionnaires which gave us a great handle on where the market is going. Based on the information, we have made significant changes to our model which our clients have found very useful and cost effective.
