We are working exclusively with an industry leading added value produce manufacturer, who have an exciting innovation pipeline, for a Senior Process Technologist. You will be based at their head office in the heart of Lincolnshire, which has received sizeable investment and has seen the site continue to expand. The Senior Process Technologist they are searching for will be managing the introduction of new products, processes and technologies into production while also reviewing existing processes.

Over the last 15 years, the site you will be based at has grown exponentially and become a leading player in green initiatives. This has seen them winning the Treading Lightly Award from Waitrose for Carbon Reduction, encapsulating several of their values including their passion to succeed and restlessness to improve. Alongside this there is a clear path for your progression to become the Process Manager as well as a host of new products in the pipeline for you to get your teeth into.
The key experience you will need as the Senior Process Technologist:
- A background within Food Manufacturing, ideally this will be within a chilled or short shelf life category
- Experienced operating as a Process Technologist or above
- Experience using retail spec portals and process/validation equipment
- Experience with reviewing packaging and artwork
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Lead and facilitate the introduction of new products, processes and equipment in the business
- Create and own the critical path and trial plan for all new and existing products from the handover from NPD to launch, ensuring that all trials are completed successfully to ensure successful launch
- Liaise with customers as required and be the site lead for all customer pre pro and launch visits
- Value engineer existing processes through the factory and supply base
- Work with all functions to fosters culture of continuous improvement
For the successful candidate, they are offering circa £35,000 plus bonus and excellent wider package.
