You’ll be taking on whole site responsibility, leading a business-critical site to success while joining a long-standing team of 14 experts in the industry. You’ll benefit from their wealth of knowledge as much as they will yours.

The site is well-located near ports and sits on the River Forth—a great place for a walk during your break. It needs some TLC, which will take time, but allows you to put your stamp on it and make significant improvements (which will look great on your CV).

In order to make this happen it will take a flexible and autonomous approach, allowing you to decide what works best for you and the site!

The Business

The company has been operating for over 150 years and is part of a wider international group with 4 sites across the UK and 2 manufacturing sites in Europe.

They are a known leader in the ingredients manufacturing sector and supply to some of the biggest names in the industry. This is reflected with them being in the top 10 in world and European capacity sales.

What about you?

To succeed, you will be on the floor and in the action. Pushing operational capacity and getting your team to make the changes they may not want to make.

You’ll need a manufacturing background and to have led teams at an Operations Manager level or above. Due to having an on-call rotation one weekend in four, you’ll need to be based within an hour of site.

It’s also key that you are a strong relationship builder as you have a long-standing team that you will need to build trust as well as a projects team you will be working closely with.
